Your Besties Guide ("we", "I", "us") is run by Steph Storie. This policy explains what information I collect, why, and what I do with it. Questions: steph@yourbestiesguide.com.
What I collect
- Your email address (and first name, if you give it) when you sign up for the free guide or buy a workbook.
- Purchase details when you buy something: what you bought, the amount and the date. Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
- Event and group bookings if you book a support group session or call (through Ticket Tailor or Zoom Scheduler).
- How you use the site and emails, such as pages visited, and whether an email was opened or a link clicked. This helps me improve what I send.
- Anything you send me, such as replies to my emails.
I don't sell your information, and I never put the word "herpes" in an email subject line.
Why I use it
- To send you what you asked for: the free guide, your workbooks, and my emails.
- To run the support groups and Q+A sessions you sign up for.
- To understand what's helpful, so I can make better guides and emails.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations for purchases.
Who helps me run this
I use trusted service providers who process information on my behalf, only for the purposes above: Supabase (database), Cloudflare (website services and storage), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), Kit (email, while I finish moving away from it), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Google Analytics (site analytics), Ticket Tailor and Zoom (sessions and bookings), and Telegram (support communities you choose to join).
Social media
I publish my own content to my own Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok accounts using their official tools. My site does not collect your social media data, and any connection I make to these platforms is to my own accounts only.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask me to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you: email steph@yourbestiesguide.com.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while you're subscribed or a customer, and for as long as needed for legal and accounting reasons afterwards. If you unsubscribe, I keep only what's needed to make sure you're not emailed again.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
